### The Shop

In the shop the players get access to different seeds to expand the garden vegetables and gardening tools to boost production.

### Quests

One of the most fun tools offered by our educational game are the missions to play within TheGreenGame.\
**These are quests aimed at to offer a first contact to the students with the good procedure in the garden**. Therefore, in addition to having a marked didactic character, they are a fantastic training tool prior to the visit to the garden.

The quests also teach the most important aspects of **successful organic gardening.**

Two example quests;

**1) Complete the first bancal, “The lettuce”.**

* Get compost and straw and mix it in the bancal. (Get compost and mix it with garden soil, then cover it with straw (mulching).
* Plant the lettuce seedlings.
* Take water from the well and water the seeds.
* (Complete Watering Mission) Learn how to water correctly in the garden.

**2) Build a seedbed.**

* Gather the materials (Wood, window, screws, hammer, saw).
* Find an optimal place and build it.
* Start growing new seeds.

### NPCs

* Dani is the experienced gardener, who guides the players in the game.
* Shop seller: A friendly seeds and tools seller.

## The in-game education resources

#### Cultivation guide

**In this section you will find the cultivation guide of the vegetable grown in each bed**: sowing process, basic care needed, pests and natural remedies to control them, as well as different different tricks for their cultivation.

#### RESOURCES

This section contains three sub-sections: **Activities, Documents and Other resources**.

These are intended to involve the whole teaching staff in the school garden project.

* **The Activities** included in TheGreenGame are intended to facilitate and speed up the teaching process in the school garden.

These activities cover the different subject areas and grades of Infant and Primary Education.\
\
**TheGreenGame is designed so that any teacher, regardless of the area of knowledge and regardless of the course they are in, has activities to take advantage of.**

* **Documents** include a careful compilation of freely accessible documents that can be found on the Internet. They deal with different aspects (varieties, diseases and pests, natural remedies, etc.)
* **Other resources** include a series of photos and videos recorded in our demonstration garden ("La ecoHuerta del Tito") and a series of sheets on beneficial fauna for the garden.
